Le Chapeau

Of all the walks that arre possible in the area, this is our favorite. Accessible to all, an easy 40 minutes along a well trodden path this little diamond is still a secret that is closely guarded.

The path wins it way up through beautiful forest criss-crossing tinkling mountain streams to reveal the Vallee Blanche in all its splendor.

At the top awaits an incredibly picturesque mountain chalet and the warmest welcome in the valley. Simple home made tarts and and fresh crispy salads are all picked from their own vegetable patch.

A perfect place to get away from the hussle and bussle and contemplate life with one of the most stunning views of the valley.
